Discover How McGregor PACE Serves Seniors in Cuyahoga County
Learn the Advantages of PACE Compared to Medicaid
McGregor PACE is planning an open house at our adult day center on Emery Road in Warrensville Heights on August 18, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. If you have ever wondered whether you or your loved one would benefit from PACE, have questions about how PACE is different from Medicaid, or want to experience our adult care center firsthand, please plan to attend. This is your chance to get answers to your questions, meet some of our McGregor PACE staff members, and get a glimpse of what a senior’s life looks like once they enroll in PACE.
PACE is designed for people ages 55 and older in Cuyahoga County. Eligible seniors qualify for nursing home-level care and live safely in the community. We provide one-to-one care coordination for each PACE participant and take an interdisciplinary team approach to integrated care, adapting to serve seniors’ changing needs as they age.
How Is PACE Different From the Medicaid PASSPORT Program?
Many seniors and their families have questions about how PACE differs from the Medicaid PASSPORT program. While you can reference our past blog on PACE compared to Medicaid PASSPORT for more information, we have summarized the key takeaways below:
PACE gives seniors the following advantages over PASSPORT:
- No deductibles
- No monthly premiums
- 100% coverage for all medical care costs
- Complete coverage for Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
- Access to adult day centers
- Access to the support of a social worker
- Free meals
- Home health care services
- Dental and vision care
We would love the opportunity to tell you and your family more about McGregor PACE and help you to determine your eligibility. Please register now for our Open House on August 18 to let us know you are coming.
