📊 Research Confirms: PACE Participants Experience Better Health Outcomes

New research from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services shows that the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is making a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults.

The 2026 study found that compared to similar Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries, PACE participants are:
✅ Less likely to be hospitalized
✅ Less likely to visit the emergency department
✅ Less likely to die within the year

Even more impressive, these positive outcomes were achieved despite PACE participants often being older and living with more complex medical conditions.

PACE brings together a dedicated team of physicians, nurses, social workers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals who coordinate every aspect of a participant’s care. This integrated approach helps older adults remain healthy, independent, and safely living in their own homes and communities for as long as possible.

At McGregor PACE, we’re proud to provide this comprehensive model of care to eligible adults age 55 and older throughout Cuyahoga, Lorain, and Summit counties.
