Tangi McCoy, LNHA, MPA

Chief Executive Officer, McGregor PACE

Tangi McCoy, a licensed nursing home administrator, began her health care journey in 1985. Since then, she has worked in both for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. In 2008, Tangi joined McGregor as the chief operating officer for their 235-bed facilities including skilled nursing, assisted living, HUD housing, and independent living. Tangi has a Master’s of Public Administration in Health Care. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Cynthia K. Balina, MD

Medical Director, McGregor PACE

Dr. Balina served as an internist/geriatrician at MetroHealth prior to joining the McGregor PACE team as a staff physician in 2010. In that time she has helped to expand services and in 2023 was promoted to Medical Director. Dr. Balina earned her medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and completed her internship, residency, and geriatric fellowship at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland Ohio. She is board-certified in internal medicine and geriatric medicine, and has served as medical director for several community nursing homes. Her areas of interest include home-based care, treatment of addiction and mental illness in the elderly, and palliative and end-of-life care.
