As our loved one’s age, everyday tasks that once seemed simple can become increasingly difficult. Two of the most common challenges seniors face are getting to important medical appointments and maintaining proper nutrition. When these needs begin to affect a loved one’s health, safety, and independence, it may be time to explore the support available through McGregor PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly).
Regular medical care is essential for managing chronic conditions, preventing complications, and maintaining overall well-being. However, transportation barriers often cause seniors to miss appointments, delay treatment, or struggle to follow through with care plans. McGregor PACE helps eliminate these obstacles by providing transportation and coordinated care services that ensure participants can attend doctor visits, specialist appointments, therapy sessions, and other healthcare needs.

Good nutrition is equally important to healthy aging. Many older adults face challenges with grocery shopping, meal preparation, or maintaining a balanced diet. Poor nutrition can lead to weight loss, weakness, increased health complications, and a decline in quality of life. Through McGregor PACE, participants receive nutritional support, meal planning guidance, and access to services designed to help them maintain a healthy diet and remain strong and active.
McGregor PACE operates five Adult Day Health Centers throughout Cuyahoga, Lorain, and Summit counties, providing convenient access to healthcare services, nutritious meals, social engagement, rehabilitation, and supportive care—all while helping participants remain in the comfort of their own homes.
