Connecting Families With Critical Resources
Helping You Navigate Aging Services
Have you heard of the sandwich generation? This saying refers to people in their thirties or forties who are responsible for caring for their aging parents—while they are also raising their children. If you are in this generation, you may feel this struggle personally. You are trying to set aside money for your children’s future or college fund while also providing the care that your parents need. It can feel impossible to make the right choices and do the right thing for everyone.
McGregor PACE sees you and understands your unique struggle. We are here to serve not only seniors in Cuyahoga County, but their families. Caring for an aging loved one can strain your family’s resources, let alone cause feelings of stress, frustration, and worry.
When your loved one enrolls in PACE, this burden on you and your family will begin to ease. Of course, PACE services can make your daily life easier by reducing the responsibility on you as a primary caregiver. But also, our trained and professional staff can help connect you with social workers and other individuals in the community who can open the doors to additional resources and support for your loved one and your family.
We also have the added benefit of being part of the larger McGregor senior care community. McGregor’s services are designed as a continuum of care and their team is known for helping families navigate the obstacles to receiving aging services. When your loved one currently enrolled in the PACE program needs more care, you can more easily access additional resources like McGregor Assisted Living.
If we can support you or answer any questions, please reach out to our team. We would love to tell you and your loved one more about the PACE program and how it can serve your entire family’s needs.
