How Seniors Can Explore the Cleveland Cultural Gardens

Discover One of Northeast Ohio’s Most Beautiful Attractions

Plan You and a Loved One’s Visit Today

Among Northeast Ohio’s most beautiful and oldest attractions are the Cleveland Cultural Gardens. There are currently 33 dedicated gardens that have been designed by cultural or nationality groups. If you’ve never visited the gardens, they are located along Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and East Boulevard in Rockefeller Park. Some of the gardens, such as the Hungarian and Czech gardens, date back to the 1930s. Others, like the Croatian and Syrian gardens, were established in the early 2010s. And the gardens are still expanding: Korean, Lebanese, Native American, and Russian gardens are currently in development.

If you are planning a visit to the Gardens for yourself or an aging parent or loved one, keep in mind that restroom facilities are limited. Visitors to the Gardens can use the Rockefeller Park Greenhouse restrooms, which are located near the north end of the Gardens and open between 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. We advise you to plan your trip accordingly.

McGregor PACE Celebrates Our Diverse Community

Supporting the Russian Cultural Garden in Cleveland

McGregor PACE celebrates the diversity of our participants and the communities they continue to call home. We are fortunate to serve seniors who come from a range of backgrounds and communities—and there’s no better celebration of community than the Cleveland Cultural Gardens. The Russian Cultural Gardens, a non-profit organization working to develop the Russian cultural garden, is currently in the process of fundraising to officially join the Cleveland Cultural Gardens. Many of our participants are part of the Russian and Ukrainian communities in Lyndhurst, Mayfield Heights, and Parma, and we are excited by this effort to represent those communities in this important way. If you would like to support The Russian Cultural Gardens’ efforts, you can do so by helping to spread the word to your friends and family, becoming a member of the organization, or making a donation.
