Exploring the Cleveland Cultural Gardens

Learn About the Cleveland Cultural Gardens

Promoting a Vision of Peace Through Understanding

Among Northeast Ohio’s most beautiful and oldest attractions are the Cleveland Cultural Gardens. There are currently 33 dedicated gardens that have been designed by cultural or nationality groups. If you’ve never visited the gardens, they are located along Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and East Boulevard in Rockefeller Park. Some of the gardens, such as the Hungarian and Czech gardens, date back to the 1930s. Others, like the Croatian and Syrian gardens, were established in the early 2010s. And the gardens are still expanding: Korean, Lebanese, Native American, and Russian gardens are currently in development.

If you’d like to learn more about the gardens and plan a visit, this information will be helpful to you:

McGregor PACE Celebrates Our Diverse Community

Supporting the Russian Cultural Garden

McGregor PACE celebrates the diversity of our participants and the communities they continue to call home. We are fortunate to serve seniors who come from a range of backgrounds and communities—and there’s no better celebration of community than the Cleveland Cultural Gardens. The Russian Cultural Gardens, a non-profit organization working to develop the Russian cultural garden, is currently in the process of fundraising to officially join the Cleveland Cultural Gardens. Many of our participants are part of the Russian and Ukrainian communities in Lyndhurst, Mayfield Heights, and Parma, and we are excited by this effort to represent those communities in this important way. If you would like to support The Russian Cultural Gardens’ efforts, you can do so by helping to spread the word to your friends and family, becoming a member of the organization, or making a donation.

If you have any questions about the PACE program and our efforts to serve Cleveland’s aging seniors, please reach out to learn more.
