Keith Cavey is a psychiatric nurse practitioner, who was brought on by McGregor PACE to integrate behavioral health into their suite of services. Keith’s journey through nursing and behavioral health at large had an early foundation, as his mother is a career psychiatrist in the Cleveland area. His time in the United States Marine Corps, from 2001-2009, motivated him to look for a career that benefited society, which turned him towards healthcare.
Cynthia Balina, MD is the Medical Director for McGregor PACE
Dr. Balina served as an internist/geriatrician at Metro Health prior to joining the McGregor PACE team as a staff physician in 2010. In that time she has helped to expand services and in 2023 was promoted to Medical Director. Dr. Balina earned her medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and completed her internship, residency, and geriatric fellowship at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland Ohio. She is board-certified in internal medicine and geriatric medicine and has served as medical director for several community nursing homes. Her areas of interest include home-based care, treatment of addiction and mental illness in the elderly, and palliative and end-of-life care.
