The apartments are located adjacent to the McGregor Foundation’s Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), an adult day health center and clinic that opened early November.
This affordable living building will be called the McGregor Landing, providing 115 units in a four-story building consisting of 95,000 square feet.

McGregor is partnering with developer CHN Housing Partners on the $35million project which will connect to the new PACE Center on Leona Street. The project is estimated to be completed in 2027.
“This is really exciting for McGregor because it allows us to bring the strength of the coordinated care program for PACE and combine it with affordable apartment options. ” said Ann Conn, president and chief executive of the McGregor Foundation. “It’s a unique model that doesn’t currently exist in Lorain County for older adults.”
Mayor Kevin Brubaker, of Elyria said, ” It makes a lot of sense for it to be in that area and having it right next to the Health Center, at the same time accessing the land McGregor originally purchased will be a big benefit for both the residents and project.”
