Open House Marks Milestone in PACE Program Growth
McGregor PACE announced a community Open House in Elyria, on November 13th with great anticipation by the community. This event came as a highly celebrated follow-up to their successful Grand Opening, drawing interest and enthusiasm from individuals and families who may benefit from these essential services.

The Open House was more than just a gathering—it’s a celebration of McGregor PACE’s commitment to expanding the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) in Ohio. This milestone highlights the organization’s dedication to providing comprehensive healthcare and supportive services to older adults, allowing them to remain healthy and independent within their communities.

Community members, prospective participants, caregivers, and local leaders were invited to join the festivities, learn more about the PACE model, tour the new facility, and connected with community resources like the Lorain County Office on Aging and more! Attendees had an opportunity to meet the compassionate staff, discover the wide range of services offered, and explore how McGregor PACE can support their health and well-being.

McGregor PACE provides a comprehensive range of supportive services designed to enhance the quality of life for older adults. These services include physical, occupational and speech therapy, which help participants maintain or regain mobility, strength, and independence. In addition, the Center offers a variety of activities and opportunities for social engagement, fostering a vibrant community where participants can interact and connect with others. We even have our own therapy dog. “Peanut”.
Transportation is another key component of McGregor PACE’s support system, as the program offers reliable door-to-door transportation services. This ensures that participants can safely travel to and from the Center and medical appointments without concerns about logistics or accessibility.

Furthermore, McGregor PACE excels in coordinating all aspects of medical, rehabilitative, social, and personal care for its participants. Central to this approach is an interdisciplinary team that collaborates closely with participants and their caregivers to develop personalized care plans tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences. This holistic method ensures that older adults receive the individualized attention and services they need to remain healthy, active, and engaged in their community.

With the Elyria location’s continued growth, McGregor PACE is proud to deepen its impact across Ohio, fostering partnerships and improving the quality of life for seniors and their families. The Open House promised an inspiring event for all who attended.
