In partnership with the Center for Community Solutions and recent key findings, McGregor PACE has been able to demonstrate its value to the community for more than a decade!
Since the recent onset of the COVID-19 pandemic the results have been devastating to older adults and persons with disabilities who reside in Ohio’s skilled nursing facilities. As of October, deaths in skilled nursing facilities accounted for 54 percent of all COVID-19 related deaths in Ohio, highlighting the importance of increasing need for community-based services like McGregor’s Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE).
Furthermore, aging experts tell us that COVID-19 has changed everything related to supporting Ohio’s elderly while keeping them safe and when its possible, keeping them in their own home and within their neighborhoods.
